DJ Jazz-e ist ein erfahrener DJ/Produzent/Remixer in der elektronischen Musikszene mit über 20 Jahren Erfahrung, spezialisiert auf Funky Electro, Techno, Disco House und kantige Beats. Fasziniert von experimentellen elektronischen Klängen begann Jazz-e seine Karriere mit elektronischer Musik in der DJ-Szene der San Francisco Bay Area und stieg schnell durch die Teilnahme an DJ-Battles und Showcases in die Dance- und Hip-Hop-Szenen ein.

Durch die Underground-Raves der 2000er Jahre aufsteigend, wurde er bekannt für seine energiegeladenen Sets, die House-, Techno- und Hip-Hop-Einflüsse vermischen und seine Turntablist-Ausbildung in das Dance-Music-Genre einbringen, um Leidenschaften auf der Tanzfläche zu entfachen.

Wurzeln in Nordkalifornien

Mit Sitz in Nordkalifornien trat Jazz-e in legendären Warehouses, Hallen und erstklassigen Nachtclubs in der gesamten Region auf, darunter Ruby Skye, Spundae, 1015 Folsom, DV8, The End Up und Mighty, und begeisterte das Publikum mit seiner rohen und psychedelischen Atmosphäre in pulsierenden urbanen Szenen.

Nationale und internationale Touren

From the 2000s to the present, Jazz-e's influence spread far beyond California, with performances at raves and events across the United States — from the Southwest in Texas and Hawaii (including Asylum in Honolulu), to the Southeast in Georgia and Florida (like Club Space in Miami), the Carolinas in North Carolina, the Mid-South in Tennessee, the Northeast in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio, and New York (including Twilo in New York City) — as well as Northwest Canada, including British Columbia and Alberta, and even Mexico. Through the co-founding of Trancefusion Music, he collaborated on expansive tours that brought his unique sound to diverse audiences nationally and internationally.

Jazz-e has produced numerous CD releases, including "Filtered Acid," "Tweekin Beats," and "Funkin' It Up," along with record releases featuring remixes like "Universal Flow" by Suite 304 with DJ Sneak on EMI Records.

Aktuelle Projekte

Today, Jazz-e continues to evolve his sound while drawing inspiration from his roots in innovative projects. In 2006, he co-formed the group Chubby Fingers, which has produced multiple releases and gained support from industry heavyweights like Laidback Luke and many others. He now performs and produces under several monikers:

• Chubby Fingers - Trio mit BlaQwest und Booker: Dubstep, Electro, Techno, Tech House, Disco House, Hip-Hop, Trap und Future Beats. Bekannt u. a. „Into the Night“ (Jazz-e Relectrofucin Mix, RH2, 2010), „Big John“, „The Code“, „Flipped Out“ sowie Compilations von Nothing But / Play This!.
• Minnesota Fatz - Trap-, Dubstep- und Drumstep-Remixe, darunter „Ludacris - Splash Waterfalls (Minnesota Fatz Freaky Trap Remix)“ und „311 - Amber (Minnesota Fatz Dubstep and Drumstep)“.
